Weaving an archival Italian Ketubah from the 17th C courtesy of The Jewish Museum, with modern pomegranate photography, this Ketubah evokes the old and the new. Italian design, with a soft earthy, almost golden colouring is combined with Bluth's hand scribed custom type face bringing old mystical letters and traditional texts to life in a new way, overlaid with Pomegranates - the earthy and sensual symbol of abundance and fertility. 
 

The scribed heading of this Ketubah is "Ani L'Dodi V'Dodi Li", a love filled line from Psalms, meaning I am for my beloved, and my beloved is for me.

The heading "b'mazla ma'aliya" is an Aramaic expression that means: “With good fortune” or “With a good and auspicious mazal (luck or destiny).” It was traditionally used in Ketubot to convey the blessing that this union should take place under a favorable and blessed mazal, a good spiritual influence or destiny.

Every Ketubah is designed with Bluth's custom typeface, with your personal details (names, location and date of the wedding, space for signing) seamlessly incorporated into the final product.

Each Ketubah is created on archival quality museum-grade, fine art paper.

If your officiant will be providing the finalized text, please note that in the form, and we will be in touch with them directly. Bluth is available to offer design guidance and support every step of the way.

Please note that all Ketubahs are shipped unframed. It takes at minimum one month from creation and personalization of the Ketubah until it arrives at your door.
